5 famous celebrities taking the beauty industry by storm.


Recently the big beauty brands have been trying to compete with the bar being set high by these social media stars with active followers, their makeup lines, and their big endorsements.The beauty influencers have taken a huge step forward in the industry and focussed on beauty issues that were overlooked by many cosmetic companies in the past. It's a dawn of new makeup lines being launched From Kylie lip kits, Kim’s Contour to Rihanna’s Fenty.

Kim Kardashian West

The famous Kardashian family not only uses the best beauty products but they also influence the beauty industry in a big way. Kim Kardashian West takes the crown in the family when it comes to beauty and social media influence with over a 100 million followers. Not only does she own a cosmetics line: KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance but often paid to endorse products of big beauty brands. Before launching her own line, Kim collaborated with her little sister Kylie Jenner for a lip kit collection: KKW by Kylie Cosmetics that includes four cream liquid lipsticks (Kim, Kimmie, Kiki, and Kimberly) in different shades of nude.
The reality star then launched KKW Beauty and fragrance which sold out its first launch Crème Contour and Highlight Kits making $14.4 million of sales in just two hours. The KKW  fragrance made $10 million of sales in one day. The reality star and style icon have created careers of successful hairstylists and makeup artists through the help of her social media influence. With the help of her glam squad, with makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic who has worked with the famous reality star since 2008 teamed with Anastasia Beverly Hills to create a shadow palette with a shimmery bronze hue called Kim. In addition, the makeup artist has also held makeup tutorial classes (master class)  which are attended by millions with the reality star as the guest. The social media queen has also collaborated with Pat McGrath Labs since fall 2015 to create Gold 001 and the brand's most recent launch, Dark Star 006, a smoky eye kit which has completely sold out.In 2010, Kim became the face of Fusion Beauty Color Ceuticals Collection with her favorite line Illumifill Line Filling Luminizer that you can wear without makeup for summer and still have a gorgeous glow on the beach. She influenced the Charlotte Tilbury's Hot Lips collection with lipsticks named after powerful, beautiful celebrities, like Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek which Kim wears pretty much every day. The OPI Nail polish included whole Kardashian-Jenner clan with their names on the nail colors and making lots dollars with this deal.

Kim may be the reigning queen, but the younger sister Kylie Jenner is very close to the crown. Her cosmetics line: Kylie cosmetics ranks in millions everytime it is released online and headed to be a billion-dollar company.
It started with matte lip kits and now the collection ranges from blushes, eyeshadow palettes, highlights, concealers and even lip collabos with her older sisters Kim and Khloe. She not only influences the beauty industry with her cosmetics line but also has an impressive list of endorsement deals of her own. Kylie loves the Ardell fake lashes, as most celebrities and apparently a pair of Lilly Lashes which is believed the brands pays her to wear them.
In 2015, Kylie became the brand ambassador for Nip + Fab with her favorite product from the brand being a dragons Blood Fix Serum which plumps her skin and perfect as a makeup base. The beauty guru promoted the butt enhancement cream with natural ingredients to help maintain & accentuate curves and Breast plumping lotion that stimulate fat cells in the target areas on Instagram. Kylie is known for her colored wigs, extensions, and weaves. She later teamed up with Bellami Hair to create her own hair line,  Kylie Hair Kouture with clip-in extensions. She works often on her cosmetics campaigns with celebrity Makeup artist Hrush Achemyan who has an impressive following on social media with 2.1 million followers on Instagram and an exclusive deal with Tarte Cosmetics on a limited-edition. Kylie like her sister Kim has a go-to glam squad with makeup artist Ariel Tejada who they met on Instagram, and now is teaching master classes, and often also works on the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan.

Rihanna has utilizing her platforms to make institutional changes in the fashion, beauty and music industry. She has been in the limelight, not only as an entertainer but an advocate mogul for change with many endorsements from major beauty brands.

Even when Kendall Jenner has less beauty endorsement deals than her influential sisters she has a strong fashion industry presence. She is an international supermodel with the over 80 million followers on her social media platforms fronting every major fashion campaign, walking down runways and covering major magazines.The reality star has set a trend for models with the largest social media influence worldwide.She is not only a face for the runway but has been signed on to be the face of many lucrative companies.
