Which is the most effective time of the day to exercise?

Working out can increase your mental clarity for four to 10 hours post-exercise. The benefits of exercise linger throughout the day. You continue to burn calories after the workout is done. Use this benefit during the day when you are eating instead of when you are sleeping. Some people do aerobic exercise first thing before they've eaten because they think it will help them burn more fat. Indeed, there's some evidence that this practice, sometimes called "fasted cardio," may boost fat burning, but only fleetingly. Over the course of days or weeks which is what counts, research shows that it doesn't seem to offer any advantages.

It is recommended working out first thing in the morning because that's when you're least likely to have scheduling conflicts and therefore more likely to exercise regularly. Plus, early exercisers often say that a morning routine leaves them feeling more energized and productive during the day.By exercising in the morning, you're taking advantage of these naturally circulating hormones as they're peaking, rather than later in the day when they're lower. But if you are not a morning person and shudder at the thought of getting out of bed for a 6 a.m. workout,  We perform best at exercise (especially high-intensity exercise) later in the day.

A research conducted at the University of Nairobi indicate that sleep quality is not disturbed by vigorous late-night exercise. The effects were examined by measuring cardiac autonomic activity, as well as subjective sleep quality. Testosterone levels are on the rise during the day, and are at their best in the late afternoon, while cortisol levels are the highest when you get out of bed, and slowly diminish as night rolls into town.
